| 2009 CONFERENCE/TRAINING AWARDS |
The Ohio County Community Foundation finds it helpful to issue small grants from the
unrestricted funds outside the Grants Committee recommendations on occasion. This may
occur if an occasion arises that would not require full committee and board approval.
The Ohio County Community Foundation (OCCF) will seek and accept Conference/Training
Grant Applications from area non-profit organizations who would benefit from funds made
available for training and attending conferences which support and enhance the goals of the
non-profit organizations. The funds will be used for non-profit organizations that benefit the
residents of Ohio County. Each application will be reviewed after submission by the Program
Coordinator to ensure the application is complete and the organization is eligible to make
application.
The application must then be approved by the OCCF Executive Director and may be
submitted to the Grants Committee or the Board of Directors for final approval.
Listed below is the 2009 Conference/Training Grant Award
Citizens for Drug Free Ohio County - $125 - Prevention of Prescription Drug Abuse
Ohio County Historical Society - $150 - AASCH Conference
